They took on a 50+ metre macrocarpa hedge that had ambitions of becoming part of the national power grid. The hedge had grown so close to the high-voltage lines that I wouldn't go near it without a rubber suit and a very large life insurance policy. The Cut Above Trees crew, however, turned up, assessed the situation, and got straight to work like it was just another day at the office. They worked incredibly hard from start to finish, barely stopping, and somehow managed to make a giant, unruly hedge look neat, tidy, and well-behaved again. *Note the gaps in the hedge were a hack job from previous owners, (aka Edward ScissorHabds I think). Cut Above gave some good tips to cover these and I'll let mother nature do her thing. To top it off, their quote was about half the price of their competitors. I was expecting that to mean half the service, but instead I got double the effort and an outstanding result. Professional, friendly, safety-conscious, and clearly experts at what they do. My hedge is no longer trying to make contact with the power lines, and I can sleep easier knowing the neighbourhood won't be lit up by my gardening mistakes. If you need tree or hedge work done, save yourself the hassle and call Cut Above Trees. They were worth every cent and then some.

Connor was called on to deal with a large pine that was on a significant lean (the wrong way) since the big wind that came through at the end of 2025. His team not only got the tree to fall away from the infrastructure it was endangering, they also cleared and cleaned as they went and left a very tidy site. We have future work for him and will definitely be using him again. Highly recommended

They are a very professional team of arborists with safety high in their approach to this work. The work was done promptly and they picked up all the residue from the removal of these trees. We engaged Cut Above Tree Services in early 2023 to do some Aborist work on a large Weeping Willow plus topping some large Beech trees. A very professional job & Connor gave us  good advice on other Native trees . His team cut larger limbs to lengths for our log burner & chipped the smaller limbs & foliage. They returned after winter & dropped off trailer load of wood chips to us. Thoroughly professional,  tidy, knowledgeable  and very reasonable rates . Very happy customers.
